Farm Fromage Angela's Pillow

Young Angela’s Pillow has a milky and sweet taste. As the cheese matures it forms a smooth, runny interior and a white bloomy rind that is typical of double cream Camembert cheese. It has a rich, buttery flavor. The rind is bloomy white caused by a white fungus, called penicillium candidum. The rind is meant to be eaten with the cheese. This cheese is best paired with a light red wine such as Beaujolais, Chenin Blanc, St Emilion, St Estephe or traditionally a glass of Normandy cider. Approximately 6 oz per wheel.

Farm Fromage Beer Washed Tomme is fashioned in the Trappist monk tradition. It is a pungent, stinky cheese washed in Lancaster Brewing Co. Milk Stout beer. Farm Fromage Cowfeta (8oz)

Farm Fromage Cowfeta is a firm, crumbly cheese that is brined to preserve the cheese during the storage. This brining process gives it a distinctively tangy, salty taste. It is a semi firm cheese which lends itself to be crumbled. Well suited for Feta spinach pie or floured and seared to complement a fresh garden salad.

Delicious is a delightful Italian style table cheese fashioned from a mix of raw cow and sheep milk. It is one of our top five crowd pleasers. Serve it on a cheese platter with smoked tomato preserves and good charcuterie. Made in Leola, PA.

This fine raw sheep milk cheese is made in Pennsylvania using a Spanish Manchego recipe. You may never again resort to the stuff with the waxy brown rind that hits you with salt and then quickly fades away. Serve it sliced into elegant wedges with the rind still intact alongside fig jam or quince paste and a sprinkling of Marcona almonds for an appetizer that speaks for itself – no need to crowd it on a plate with other cheese when it has so much to offer on its own. Wonderful grated on roasted veggies or pasta.

Put it in your mac-n-cheese, melt it on a burger, add it to your omelet or just put it on your tongue. Fine chefs whip it into potatoes or incorporate it in polenta!
